Renowned for its beautiful beaches, the soft sand and shallow water in the bay are perfect for children's summer fun. Enjoy traditional seaside pleasures like the Punch and Judy shows, donkey rides and pedallos, ice cream and fish and chips, or just sit in a deckchair and take in the views of this beautiful town, the home of Olympic Sailing 2012. The Esplanade, with wonderful Georgian buildings on the seafront, along with monuments such as the Clock Tower and King George's statue.
